UPDATE TOUCHOSC FROM OSCULATOR MOD
Is there a source code for this program out there somewhere Id love to get my hand on it so i could mod it and possibly have it control some macro’s that I build for other projectsĭoes anybody know if the creator of this app will be making it for unlocked iphone 3G?Ĭan anyone help me out with this. The only thing I can think to do is learc cylcling 74 and make an application that you can vnc remote to your computer and scroll to that part of your monitor… which probably wouldn’t work as good as it might sound. Hey, is there a way to do this with a Pocket PC, running any version of windows mobile? I can’t find one, you think someone would do this? you also need to add the ip settings in 13L for it to work. Yes it will work without a wireless router, by creating a computer to computer network over airport. You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.ġ7 Responses to “How to control Ableton Live with your iPhone ” You can follow any responses to this entry through the RSS 2.0 feed. If you click the volume fader in Live, you will notice OSCulator will automatically detect a MIDI message and will convert it to an OSC message that it sends to TouchOSC running on your iPhone.

UPDATE TOUCHOSC FROM OSCULATOR FULL SIZE
Click on the images for a full size view. With a new iPhone version comes a new method of using it to control Ableton Live. Like anything in Record, this is pretty easy. Configuring Record MIDI Preferencesīefore TouchOSC can communicate through OSCulator to Record, you must add a Keyboard Controller configuration in your preferences. I recommend reading the documentation on for TouchOSC and OSCulator to gain some familiarity with establishing a network connection between the devices.
UPDATE TOUCHOSC FROM OSCULATOR ARCHIVE
The archive includes the ‘Record Pads.touchosc’ file which you can transfer to the iPad using the editor application from Īlso included is the ‘RecordRedrumBank.record’ session file with the various controls mapped to the osculator settings.

Warning: The Delete Clip button is mapped to the “Delete/Backspace Key” and will perform a destructive process to the frontmost application! The record session included in the archive is configured with remote override mappings, so no further programming is necessary. Please note that this is not a small investment considering that the technology is still in an experimental stage. Naturally you will need an iPad as well as the TouchOSC app. The files are the templates and session used in the video I posted a few weeks ago that demonstrates using the iPad and TouchOSC as a pad controller with Propellerhead Record.
